I have setup a database that GRANTs a specific user access to a database, which is theirs and will be their responsibility to manage.
They have privileges on that database only. Using MySQLGUI they can log in and manage that database, but from the drop- down menu they also see the other databases that exist on the server which is not such a bad thing, I guess, but I would prefer that they not be there at all, only their database. Is there a way to hide the other databases from them? Also, if people were not to use the MySQLQUI (which is a dog by the way, and an old dog at that) how else would they manage the database without giving them login privileges to the server?
