Hello, I'm new to Unix and MySQL. I would like to store binary data in MySQL, but cannot find any sample code on how to go about doing this in C. The binary data is variable size ranging from 3k to 10k. I want to store it in a row along with a User ID so I can retrieve it by doing a query on this ID. How do I store and retrive this binary data in MySQL? I see references to BLOB and mysql_real_escape_string(). Am I on the right track? or is there more to it?
