I have MySQL running on my FreeBSD server and I want to connect to it from my Windows 2000 workstation using mysqlgui. I put the ip address of the FreeBSD server in the my.cnf file under host, but it keeps trying to connect to the Win2000 machine instead of the FreeBSD box. Am I doing something wrong?
