Mysqldump is a command that is typed at the MySQL command line - just as you would SELECT... =to be honest, I rarely use it. Instead I use an administration package, eg MySQL-Front, which provides a GUI and makes it much easier to perform many different functions (particularly including dump/export). =Regards, =dn > thanks so much!! > > > > >Greetings > > > > > i an doing my assignment using mysql to establish a database!! > > > i already create the table and insert the data, > > > but i don't know how to create a export file, > > > anyone can help me!! > > > > > >Check out the online manual (4.8.5 mysqldump, Dumping Table Structure and > Data), or take a look at an > >administration package, eg MySQL-Front > > > >Regards, > >=dn --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
