I was working on updating some databases yesterday and when I booted up my computer this morning I couldn't connect to MySQL, the error message is "can't connect to local MySQL server through socket /path/mysql.socket."
It was there yesterday and now it's gone! Where did it go (a search of the HD doesn't show it) and, more important, how do I get it back?
