I am trying to configure MySQL to run on a WinME operating system that will eventually be transferred to a Win98 operating system. I am having problems with the InnoDB startup. The error I keep getting is that it "Cannot initialize InnoDB as 'innodb_data_file_path' is not set." I do want to be able to use InnoDB tables. I set the size for the InnoDB and then got the error message "InnoDB: Warning: operating system error number 32 in a file operation. InnoDB: Cannot continue operation." I then added the documentation for the NT system as in the user manual and the web site http://www.innodb.com/ibman.html. I continue to get the error message "Cannot initialize InnoDB as 'innodb_data_file_path' is not set." Could someone please help me to solve this problem. Thank-you for your assistance in this matter.
