Hi Darrin, This is very starnge as I just installed two FreeBSD 4.5 machines this week and had no problems! I installed on SMP based machines, with very few changes from the GENERIC kernel. Is this a fresh install of FreeBSD 4.5? If not can you run a 'make world' and 'make kernel' again? Did you run mergemaster after the upgrade (if it was an upgrade)? Is there anything unusla about you install?
