a while ago I had problems with users on mysql. I am trying to login as root from the local host using password and I get access denied using password=YES the host column of my user table is set to % and I have done a flush privileges and from other certain hosts I cannot login as root remote my user table looks like host=% and everything else is set to Y Why is this ???
