Is it possible to support both single and double-byte characters in the same database?
We have offices all over the world -- and want to share information, but in some cases, there will be japanese and possibly hebrew text in the database - in addition to English, Dutch, french, and Spanish. Is it possible to support all of this from a single mySQL db? If so, how do i set that up? I've run some tests, and right now we can support English, etc., but not the double byte languages.
