Hello, I am attempting to add the ROOT user as a MYSQL administrator using the following syntax:
mysqladmin -u root password 12345 and I recieve the following error: mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: YES)' anyone have any ideas?
