When I try to run the mysqld or safe_mysql, I get "connot connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)'. Check that mysql is running and that the socket : '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' exists!
This file does not exist. Where does it come from or how do you create it? I have done a search on the website, but no results. /etc/hosts file is also correct.
