To get German sorting order, you should start mysqld with --default-character-set=latin_de. This will give you the following characteristics. To get Tamil sorting order , i have started the mysqld with --default-character-set=latin1.But it is displaying the sorting order in a wrong way... Is any other setting to be made for this.....
