Hi, hopefully I have reached the right list..
I have recently updgraded to version 3.23.49 and have found that when doing the following query: "select now()" I get a universal time returned to me. I have this version installed on linux 7.2 and I require a time in australian eastern standard time format. After reading the doco I have been able to find a reference to mysql referencing an environment variable "TZ". However it does not give an example of what to set this to if I require the above mentioned format. Secondly the other thing that puzzles me is that on previous versions the timezone was never an issue only in the release .49? _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
