Your 'group by' clause needs to have the same fields (and in the same order) as your 'order by' clause or this is bound to happen - resp. as soon as the fields are no longer identical (counted from the beginning of the 'order by' and 'group by' clause) duplicate groups are possible. Or I misunderstood you completely .o) In that case please include examples of your query with actual values.
