Hi, We are developing a webbased serch application on MYSQL and PHP. I am sure most of you must have already implemented such application. Could you share with me the logic of such application. We were planning to keep a keyword search and my people feel that that will require additional load of keeping track of keyword and they are not interested in that. The other option is fulltext serch on all the data for one table, but concern about of the performance issue. Wondering how you guys are doing out there ? Which is the best way ? Any suggesstion appreciated .
