Hello. When trying to connect to a database through php using a user that has been granted all rights to the database I get the "Can't connect to database" error. If I use the Admin's name and password I have no trouble connecting through the php page. From a shell prompt I can connect to mysql using that user and make any changes to the database. I am running MySQL 4.0.1-alpha and PHP Version 4.2.0rc1.
Any help will be much appreciated as I have been at trying to figure this out for several days now.
