I am having real trouble trying to get mysqld to start automatically when I restart my Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server systems. I am reading the MySQL document, chapter 2.4.3, and have tried many different approaches. I can get mysqld to start manually from the terminal window, as follows
su safe_mysqld But not from startup. Does anyone have any experience with this?
