Ok. I can NOT find out what I am doing wrong. The book makes it look like any of these would work (deleted is a column name): SELECT team_id,name FROM team WHERE deleted NOT LIKE '1' ORDER BY 'name' SELECT team_id,name FROM team WHERE deleted != '1' ORDER BY 'name' SELECT team_id,name FROM team WHERE deleted <> '1' ORDER BY 'name' the deleted column is: deleted tinyint(1) unsigned default NULL, I changed the column name to just "d" to make sure that "deleted" wasn't a reserved word, and it still didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
