Since 3.23.41 there was fixed a lot of bugs and made a lot of
changes. I suggest you to upgrade MySQL to a newer version, but there
is only a pre-release of 3.23.50 existent, on which a new glibc and a 
new compiler are tested. So, if you plan to use MySQL for
production it will be better to install stable version for your
OS witch you can find at MySQL website:
         http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23.html
