Apologies for posting such a basic query, but I couldn't find an archived version of the mailing list, or a fix to my problem. Using Linux Mandrake 8.2.
It's the problem with mysql.sock, which I've tried to make the /tmp directory sticky, following the command on the mysql site. However, it still hasn't provided me with a mysql.sock file. How do I reinstate this file? advTHANKSance Adam --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
