MS Access scales reasonably well up to one simultaneous user. After that, literally all bets are off (and it _shouldn't_ work, it is like that by design). MS Access is designed to be used for small databases such as your own CD collection or something similar. It does this job quite well, probably better than MySQL does. But that's all.
