Hello, Does anybody know how and when mysql writes records and indexes to harddrive? The main purpose of this question is below.
I am using mysql 4.0.1 on win98 for test purposes. During the tests my computer halted suddenly because of a hardware problem. After restarting my computer i have seen that some of my tables which i were using when the problem arises have been crashed. I have repaired the tables but then i have noticed that the records which i inserted in the last half hour was lost. Does anybody have any comments about this?
