Oops! Take a look at http://www.mysql.com/doc/R/e/Resetting_permissions.html on how to restart your MySQL daemon with privilege checking. Then login with: # mysql -u root And type: > grant all on *.* to root@localhost; And restart your MySQL daemon again. I never tried this, but I guess it should work. Good luck!
