I wouldn't try it on anything less than a Pentium class machine with at least 64 MB of RAM. It could probably be compiled on a 486 but, well, I'm not into that kind of pain. :)
If you want decent performance I would suggest no less than a PIII500 with 1GB of RAM. (THe more RAM the merrier) It really depends on what you ware wanting to do. =C= * * Cal Evans * The Virtual CIO * http://www.calevans.com * -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Passey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, July 04, 2002 5:53 AM To: Mysql (E-mail) Subject: What are the hardware requirements To run mysql Thanks Kevin Kevin Passey KDP Software Limited Tel: 01273 712830 Fax: 08700 510103 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.kdpsoftware.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
