This opens so many possibilities ... manage MySQL tables in MS Access using
MyODBC. Guess this works for remote MySQL servers too?. Almost don't dare to
ask, but is this also possible from PostgreSQL? I'm in two situations with
alike problems, one using MySQL and the other one PostgreSQL .. I'll search
some on google about it ;) ..

That's my first question answered pretty much .. Somebody for the other
ones? the FRD and FRI files on Windows and Linux .. ? Some way to switch
user?

Thanks a lot ..

Tim, where can I let the beer be delivered?

You *can* use MS Access. The MySQL server can be on Windows or Linux or
anywhere you like. You'll need an ODBC driver - MyODBC works fine for me,
then link the tables you want.
