I've been running MySQL for 2 years with no problems. Yesterday, I increased the max_connections because I was getting "too many connections" error. This morning, the server again reached its limit but it never seemed to recover from it and constantly gave the "too many connections" error. I was forced to kill & restart the server.
does this sound familiar? this is version 3.23.44, btw.
