I'm using MySQL 3.23.38 as master and MySQL 3.23.49 as a slave in a simple replication.
I configured the system as the manual said, using the default bin-log on the master (www-bin.001) The problem is that every night (at 5:00) the replication stops. The master.info file on the slave server said that the bin-log file on the master could be for example www-bin.002 (and every night the counter extension increments) but on the master there's always www-bin.001 that never rotate. I tried to find if the problem depends on some rotation bug but I think it is not. How can I solve the problem?
