I have just installed mySQL - I have tried versions 3.23.51 win and 4.0.1 alpha win - but I cannot find a definition of MYSQL in any of the include or other files. Obviously, as a result, no client that I try to write in C will even compile.
I have looked at the manual, and I have also bought the book 'mySQL' by Widenius, but I can find nothing of help on this point. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.
