I'm having trouble with a vbulletin database running mysql as the back end.
It's running on linux server. Basically we had some weird problems and was
hoping someone else has seen this. First the boards went down because
somehow all the permissions on the table files in
/usr/local/mysql/var/<database name> were set to be owned by root. So the
mysql daemon didn't have privledges to read or write to them. Today I just
fixed a crashed table to get the database back up. Are we being hacked or
is there something else going on?

Thanks,

jake
