Does anyone have any preference regarding the use of Connector/J version 2+ or version 3?
I am confused after reading the mySQL website as to whether some of the following features are new as of version 2 or version 3 of the driver: 1. 50-100% faster than previous version. 2. Supports prepared statement. These factors plus any positive/negative experience would be valuable in making a decision as to which version of the driver to use. Any thoughts? Thanks.
