You must use version 1.0.0 of MySQL and 0.6 of PHP, since I assume you 
are using ZX-81 machine....

OK, was a joke, but without information I can say: Use the stable 
version for your machine (3.23.x), if you don't need the features of the 
unstable ones (4.x). I think migrating should be easily done as soon as 
the 4.x are stable. PHP should be same...

If you need more/specific information, you need to hand out more 
information...

P.S.: I'm almost sure that you are using a kind of Windows, because only
