mysql -u root -p and in phpMyAdmin i see that the grant option for root is enabled. and i am loged into phpMyAdmin as root also. i really wonder what's going on... i mean, am i missing the point in some way or another? cheers, phil > Hmm, nothing springs out off the top of my head.
