thanks guys for the info! The idea of an iMac really interests me but I need something so I can do some work on our apps here at work and they are windows based and I would also like to start learning c#.

It's got MySQL, Perl (DBI), PHP, Python (DB-API), Java (JDBC), Apache, Tomcat, and Ruby running on it. You can't use BDB tables under Mac OS X, though.
