I have got the msql server running and now need to configure it. In particular I want to set it up to use innodb tables. When I set up mysql on win98 I used the mysql-max release which comes with built in Innodb support and provides sample my.cnf files with the instructions for setting up Innodb table spaces. I cannot find anything similar from the RedHat installation. The rpms installed are: mysql-3.23.49-3 mysql-devel-3.23.49-3 mysql-client9-3.23.22-6 mysql-server3.23.49-3
On looking at the mysql site, it looks as though I need another rpm, mysql-max-3.23.49-3 which should be installed after the others. Is this correct and if so where can I down load it. (the current version is 3.23.52) Regards Peter Goggin --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
