Does WebSphere 5.0 implement security policies? If so, you might not have a socket-connect security policy in your JSP. The java.security.AccessControlException is always thrown from a security manager. My guess is WebSphere 5.0 has a custom one or has configured the JVM to disallow socket access. You'll have to check your WebSphere-5.0 docs to see. I have run the driver in WebSphere-4.0 and WebSphere-5.0 developer edition with no issues, so it must be something related to your WebSphere config. -Mark --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
