I'm running mysql-3.23.49 on a redhat machine, mysql has stopped responding to remote connections ever since i rebooted it today. /var/log/mysqld.log says
Number of processes running now: 1 mysqld process hanging, pid 3062 - killed 021015 20:37:05 mysqld restarted /usr/libexec/mysqld: ready for connections when a connection is made. I ran safe_mysqld from the command line and tried to connect i got this error. /usr/bin/safe_mysqld: line 273: 16126 Segmentation fault $NOHUP_NICENESS $ledir/$MYSQLD $defaults --basedir=$MY_BASEDIR_VERSION --datadir=$DATADIR $USER_OPTION --pid-file=$pid_file --skip-locking >>$err_log 2>&1 Number of processes running now: 1 mysqld process hanging, pid 16129 - killed 021015 23:51:15 mysqld restarted Any help with this issue would be much appreciated. -Jon Keller --------------------------------------------------------------------- Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing?
