although i make a living from their products and
corereader runs under windows, i really really
hate to give macrosoft a plug. but i keep seeing
this kind of question here, so here's what i do,
if you have the tools.

1. i fire up enterprise manager for ms sql
server, because it has a pretty slick dts
mechanism. (man, i hate writing that.)

2. then i suck the access database into ms sql.

3. then i alter whatever needs to be cleaned up
inside the server for whatever server it's going
to.

4. then, still inside enterprise manager, i send
it to mysql, or oracle, or whatever.

super simple and easy.

argh! gotta wash my mouth out with soap.
