Dear list, sorry for bothering you again, but no one has answered to my request for help so far, not even Jeremy Z. who *I know* can solve every and any problem remotely ;-)
On Win2K with MySQL 4.0.4 I get this error with a MyISAM table: mysql> ALTER TABLE auftrag CHANGE Nummer Nummer INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY; ERROR 7: Error on rename of '.\trainee\auftrag.MYI' to '.\trainee\#sql2-648-2.MYI' (Errcode: 13) Trying a workaround, I switched the table type of this table to innoDB. Now, I can issue the above statement without getting an error. However, innoDB tables have a MyISAM style .frm file. I get a quite similar error when I try the following: mysql> ALTER TABLE auftrag ADD FOREIGN KEY (Auftraggeber) REFERENCES auftraggeber(Schl); ERROR 1005: Can't create '.\trainee\#sql-6fc_2.frm'. (Error: 150) Seems to be an (internal) temporary table problem. Does anyone know what's happening, and how to solve this prob? Any help is greatly appreciated.
