Mysql replication problem

Hello,
I use mysql version 3.23.49 and I have set up replication but once in a while I get the error below on the slave..
"Error reading packet from server: Lost connection to MySQL server during query (read_errno 134,server_errno=2013)"

Then the slave reconnects to the master and the replication goes on...
Does anyone have any idea why is this happening and what can I do to solve this problem??
