Mac OS X 10.2 ?

just install 3.23.53 for ( Mac OS X 10.2 ) from: www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/mysql
all went well,
saw prompt mysql>
type command: show database, saw test, and mysql database
did a \q (quit)
exit okay,

AND THEN !

try to get back into mysql, no luck
can see mysqld is still running.

how does one get back in ?
