Moving a server (RH6.2 w/ 3.23.43) to a temporary system (RH7.3 w/ 3.23.49-3) and I have a mysql dump file created using:
mysqldump -A my-move.sql Just installed the server rpm on the temp system and any attempt to connect gives error because of a password, guessing that's because I've got a blank database. The sanity check is: User auth is done by ldap so the users entered in the mysql database should be ok. Anyone having done a restore, could you please tell me the process you used.
