Hi Darren,

I can input Japanese text using Netscape 7.01 on a Linux PC I use a PHP script 
to write the submitted information to the database. Here is a dump from the 
"select *" query.

The Netscape->PHP->MySQL->PHP->Netscape path is OK.

I hope this helps you isolate the trouble.
