I'm just starting to use MySQL for Linux. I installed it yesterday and it worked, but after restarting the computer it doesn't work anymore. When I type mysql at the linux prompt it says:"ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'". I've read in the manual that this socket is sometimes deleted, but what can I do to get it working again.
