Hi folks,

running mysql-4.0.x since the early versions without any problems, I had
a problem 3 days ago.
I'm not sure if its mysql-4.0.x-related but maybe anyone may shed a light on it.
MySQL is running with the query-cache enabled (16 MB cache for it, 33% cache-hits).

That day mysql got pretty unresponsive, connects where just hanging, the
shutdown-script
didn't shut down mysql because it didn't quit on the TERM-signal, only KILL really
helped
to shut it down by force.
It was MySQL-4.0.9, in the meantime I've upgraded to 4.0.11.

Any problems which could have caused it? Or how could I trace it any further, in case
it happens again

TIA,

Thomas
