Hi, I've installed MySQL 3.23.55 on Windows 2000 and I am trying to run the mysqld service as a user account rather than the local system account. This worked fine in 3.23.43 but has stopped working since the upgrade.
The error I get is 2186, which seems to be "service failing to respond to control function". Any ideas?
