Hello friends A friend of mine is running the current version of MySQL on a Win2k machine, and using ODBC to connect his VB application. Thinks it is slow ! Is there some free tool available on the net to check the perforamnce of MySQL on Windows platform or is there a reason why it might be slow on Windows or with ODBC or VB. Thanks Aman Raheja AGF Inc.
Most likely you have ODBC trace turned on...That can cause ODBC to be orders-of-magnitude slower.
