hi i was wondering what the differences between the 2 servers with search engine capabilties, also how does the full text indexing actually work ? i am planning on a footage archive database, it could be titles, but it also could be content aswell, text in titles are short so should be ok but would full text indexing make it run better ? i've seen how i could do boolean searches in mysql4 , how could i go about it in mysql 3 ?
