It's not a bug, by deafult variable ft_min_word_len=4, but you search word 'DB' has 
length 2.

If you want to search both exact matches use + operator in BOOLEAN MODE or phrase 
search:
        http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Fulltext_Search.html
