Hey All, Sorry I'm very new to the linux environment and I just recently installed RH9 that comes bundled with Mysql 3.23 and I'm having troubles upgrading to 4.0.
When I try to install the latest client and server build it tells me I have failed dependences for mod_auth_mysql, php_mysql, and perl_DBD_Mysql because its missing libmysqlclient.so.10, what am I supposed to do to upgrade? I'm very new to this and I need help. Also, I'm not sure if Mysql is currently running and how to stop it to perform an upgrade, etc. Please help!
