Hi all I'm new to this part of mysql. I've never done somme kind of backup/dump with mysql I read that for myIsam I can Just copy the frm, idx form the database directory
But I've to manage hot backup with a database mixed with InnoDB tables and MyIsam. I searched for a tutorial / a software or any other kinda of information But there is something I don't understand: Mysql HOt Backup is a non-free solution Does it works onyl with InnoDB or also with MyIsam Can Someone suggest me some way to follow ?
